Al-Ihsan Foundation USA is committed to promoting and protecting the safety, well-being, and dignity of children. We have zero tolerance for child abuse, exploitation, neglect, and harmful child labor in our operations, programs, communications, and partnerships.

Our commitment

• Upholding the rights, safety, and best interests of children in all activities we support or present to the public.
• Maintaining a child-safe culture through clear expectations, training, and supervision for staff, volunteers, and representatives.
• Safe recruitment and screening practices for roles that involve contact with or influence over children.
• Child-safe communications, imagery, and consent practices aligned with our Privacy Policy and ethical fundraising standards.
• Applying safeguarding expectations to partners, grantees, and programs we fund or promote, proportionate to risk.

Review

Our child protection framework is reviewed on a scheduled basis and after serious incidents or material changes to our programs, to keep safeguards effective and current.
